Jerusalem Farm offers the perfect escape to pause, breathe and reconnect with nature. Situated in the heart of the East Lothian countryside, this small and picturesque family-run farm is just a 20-minute drive from a range of outdoor activities, including hill walking, water sports, award-winning beaches and several championship golf courses.
The farm is home to four luxury, adult-only glamping pods - Lammer Law, Soutra, Tyne and Traprain, each set against a backdrop of outstanding views that invite relaxation in every season. These beautifully hand-crafted wooden pods feature a curved design that blends harmoniously into the landscape. Inside, guests will find everything needed for a comfortable stay in nature without sacrificing comfort. Each pod includes a queen-size bed with provided linen and towels, a private shower room with toilet and wash basin and a well-equipped kitchen area complete with a microwave, induction hob, toaster and all necessary utensils and crockery.
A dedicated dining space allows for relaxed meals, while a large two-seater sofa offers the perfect spot to unwind with a book or simply enjoy the panoramic views of the Lammermuir Hills. Each pod also features a 19" television that can be used with an Amazon Prime log-in and free Wi-Fi is provided, especially useful for those staying in the area for work.
The farm is home to a variety of wildlife and guests may spot deer, foxes, owls, badgers, hares and rabbits during their stay. The River Tyne runs along the southern boundary of the farm, just beyond the pods. Guests are encouraged to wander down to the riverbank where a bench awaits, ideal for enjoying a book, sipping coffee, or simply soaking in the peaceful sounds of the water and birdsong. With luck, you might also see a buzzard overhead or a heron gliding by.
For cosy evenings outdoors, fire pits are available to rent. Each fire pit box, costing £10, includes fire lighters, matches, logs and skewers for marshmallow toasting, which are also provided. These can be booked and paid for on-site. Please note that during hot and dry conditions, fire pits and barbecues may be prohibited due to the risk of wildfires.
