Sunnydale Farm Touring Park & Campsite is located in Netley Abbey, just three miles from Southampton cruise terminal and the Isle of Wight ferry. It is also a convenient 20-minute drive to the Channel Ferry, offering easy access to France and Spain.
The park features 41 level serviced pitches, including 24 hardstanding spots, all equipped with electric hook-up, water, and grey waste drainage. There are also 4 super sized pitches for large motorhomes/RVs. A separate camping field is available with both electric and non-electric pitches, along with a designated dog walk. The Elsan chemical disposal point is conveniently situated near the recycling area by the entrance barrier.
Security is a priority, with a car number plate recognition camera at the entrance barrier and CCTV throughout the site. Modern toilet and shower facilities offer underfloor heating, handwashing sinks, a hand dryer and a hairdryer available in the ladies' restroom.
For added convenience, a fully equipped laundry room includes large capacity washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashing sinks and separate sinks for handwashing clothes. Guests also have access to a microwave, kettle, freezer for ice packs, iron and ironing board, especially useful for those staying in the camping fields.
The campsite provides a peaceful setting for tents, small campervans and family camping. While open fires are not permitted, BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground.
There are four pubs within walking distance: The Cottage in Butlocks Heath (15-minute walk), Woodies Wine Bar on Grange Road (10-minute walk), The Plough on Portsmouth Road, and The Prince Consort in Netley. All pubs welcome dogs. Netley Abbey village also offers Indian and Chinese takeaways that deliver to the site, along with four nearby fish and chip shops. For shopping and dining, a Tesco Extra is just five minutes away, with Lidl, KFC, and Costa Coffee within a 10-minute drive. Metricks in Woolston, overlooking the River Itchen, is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee break.
The park is ideally located for major events such as the Southampton Boat Show, Cowes Week and exploring the New Forest. Just three miles east of Southampton city centre, it offers excellent transport links with nearby bus stops providing services to Southampton and Hamble every 30 minutes and to Gosport and Portsmouth every hour. For outdoor enthusiasts, The Solent Way Coastal Route is within easy reach, perfect for hikers and cyclists.
