Glamping The Wight Way offers outstanding glamping accommodation in Freshwater, nestled in a gorgeous private meadow. Based in a stunning countryside setting on the Isle of Wight, we are perfect for a tranquil off-grid getaway.
We have 4 stunning safari tents to choose from, sleeping between 6-8 people in 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area. These child-friendly tents are a haven for nature lovers looking for somewhere special to stay whilst enjoying superb facilities.
Inside each tent is a relaxing living area with comfy seating and a selection of wind-up, solar powered, battery powered & LED candle lanterns and torches. The doors and windows take advantage of the amazing views.
You can cook up a storm in the rustic handmade kitchens which include shelves & cupboards created by local craftsman. The well-equipped kitchens include a gas-fired hob & fridge, butler sink, small freezer section and crockery/tableware. A gorgeous cast iron wood burner offers heating and a cooking oven with a hot plate. Savour a homemade feast on the long handmade wooden table which is beautifully covered with sheepskin for comfort and charm.
Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the ultra-comfy bedrooms. The tents come with 3 bedrooms in total: a king room, a twin and bunkroom. The bunkroom includes extra-long bunkbeds, suitable for beds. All the bedrooms include useful storage areas.
Each lodge comes with a magnificent roll-trop slipper bath with a shower attachment to soak your troubles away in, plus two flushing loos. You also have an amazing outdoor shower in a private decking area with a large outdoor shower.
Outside the elevated decking offers spectacular views of the river and countryside. You can enjoy al fresco dining in the afternoon sun or unwind on the swinging chair/deck chairs. The lodges also come with a Kadai fire bowl with log seating. Bike racks are also available.
