Description

Woodfire Camping offers excellent camping, touring and glamping facilities in Graffham, West Sussex. We are nestled in a stunning countryside position on a farm in South Down National Park, ideal for a peaceful breakaway.

We are in a truly glorious location and throughout our site, you can enjoy views of the South Downs. Grass tent pitches are available and you can camp anywhere you like on the field. There are no limits for tent sizes. Lovely accommodation is also available in a range of pre-erected tents. The Sheraton tents come from New Zealand and are suitable for a family of 5. They are large, solid and have plenty of headroom. Facilities include a large bedroom, living area, comfy air mats, blankets, hot water bottles and lighting. A table and 2 benches are provided.

The Grunderful is a 70’s tent which sleeps up to 3 people. The cosy tent has lots of headroom, a classic rounded stable door opening, a window with original 70s curtains and an optional porch. Beds, hot water bottles, blankets, cosy bedroom lighting, a table and chairs are provided. We also have The Snug, a vintage beauty which is perfect for a memorable romantic break or for kids who prefer a bit of independence. The tent sleeps up to 2 people and there is lots of space to sit and stand inside the main living area.

Fridays to Sundays, we cook up delicious breakfasts and evening meals for our campers. Breakfast is good old-fashioned bacon & egg sarnie or grilled ciabatta rubbed with garlicky tomato, tea and good coffee. Dinner might be grilled meat or fish and salads or delicious stews with gremolata and homemade flatbreads.

We are a great base to explore a range of attractions in the local area:

Arundel Castle and Gardens
The Weald & Downland Living Museum
Cowdray Park Polo & Golf Club
Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve.
Bignor Roman Villa.
