Lanyon Holiday Park is situated in the heart of the Cornish countryside, offering an ideal location to enjoy the natural beauty and charm of west Cornwall. Surrounded by spectacular countryside, it provides the perfect base for exploring the many attractions the region has to offer.
The park features a range of well-maintained pitches suitable for tents, motorhomes and caravans.
There are four main pitch types available. Gold pitches are separated by hedges for added privacy and include access to a fresh water tap. Grass pitches measure 9M x 9M, while gravel pitches are 6M x 9M. Gold Large pitches are spacious 14M by 14M double grass electric pitches with two 10-amp electric hook-ups and fresh water access, perfect for two families or one family seeking extra space. Gold XL pitches are large, fan-shaped double grass electric pitches, approximately 17M deep, 14M wide at the mouth and 9M wide at the base, also with two 10-amp hook-ups and fresh water access. The Paddock is an extra-large 8M x 24M, tucked away beside the children’s play park and swimming pool, featuring two 10-amp electric hook-ups and ideal for shared use or those wanting double the space.
Silver pitches are 7M x 9M, non-electric and do not have hedged boundaries. Silver Plus pitches are the same size but include an electric hook-up, without hedging.
The park prides itself on maintaining exceptionally clean facilities. Guests have access to toilets and showers with free hot water, two family shower rooms with keys available at reception, launderettes with coin-operated machines, large washing lines, an iron, dishwashing sinks with hot water, communal microwave, fridge and freezer facilities, wetsuit dunk tanks, fresh water access in each field and disposal points for Elsan and motorhomes.
The on-site swimming pool is open and heated from April through September. It measures 26 feet by 12 feet with a consistent depth of 1.1M, making it ideal for young children. The enclosed play park includes trampolines with safety nets, a climbing frame, swings and other play equipment. Additionally, there is a separate grassy area with football goals.
For dog owners, there is a dedicated one-acre paddock near the entrance and exit, complete with a doggy bin, offering a space for morning and evening walks. Dogs must be kept on leads around the main site.
Lanyon Holiday Park also offers electric car charging facilities, with two charging units available outside the office building.
Nearby, guests can enjoy the Mineral Tramways network, which provides 50 km of off-road cycling and walking trails. Sailing, fishing and windsurfing opportunities are located just two miles away and being in Cornwall, a beach is never far from reach.
