Brightlycott Barton is a picturesque, four-acre, south-facing caravan and camping site located near Barnstaple in North Devon. The site has panoramic views, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway in the countryside.

With its 23 pitches featuring electric hook-ups, the campsite is set within an all-grass farm that has embraced regenerative farming practices. Over recent years, the farm has transitioned away from livestock and intensive agriculture, focusing instead on sowing herbal leys and planting native species of trees to enhance the natural environment.

The campsite offers 23 level pitches with 16-amp electric hook-ups, along with a dedicated area for tents. Guests can enjoy an indoor table tennis room and a swing frame designed for younger children, ensuring entertainment for all ages. The ablution block is well-equipped with six showers, laundry and dishwashing facilities and a specially designed room for disabled guests, complete with a ramp, shower, WC and wash basin. Additional conveniences include a free-to-use washing machine and fridge/freezer, as well as a coin-operated tumble dryer.

Situated just two miles from the vibrant town of Barnstaple, Brightlycott Barton provides easy access to its historic pannier market, leisure centre and the Tarka Tennis indoor tennis facility. Cycling enthusiasts can join the scenic Tarka Cycle Way from Barnstaple. For beach lovers, the stunning North Devon coastline is within reach, with the nearest beaches approximately seven miles from the campsite.

Recreational opportunities abound in the surrounding area. Golfers will find a 9- to 18-hole golf course just five miles away, while a fly fishing and trout farm is located a mere two miles from the site, offering the chance to catch fresh trout for a barbecue dinner.
