Description

Coppet Hill is an award-winning campsite located just three miles from the stunning Jurassic Coast. Situated within 600 acres of our family farm and surrounded by Dorset’s breathtaking hills, it offers a tranquil retreat for walkers, campers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Family Camping
Our two family-friendly Quiet Camping Fields feature just 14 spacious, secluded pitches, each large enough to accommodate two family-sized tents. Surrounded by wildlife and expansive open spaces, it's the perfect place to relax and explore.

Pond Hideaway
Pond Hideaway is a unique off-grid retreat situated beside the Secret Pond, just a three-minute walk from the main barn. This distinctive tent features a mezzanine bed elevated 2 metres among the trees, along with a sofa bed, comfortably sleeping 2 adults and 2 children. Nearby, you'll find a compost loo and an LPG shower for convenience. While beds are provided, guests should bring their own sleeping bags, towels and cooking equipment. A firepit and picnic bench are included for outdoor enjoyment and a solar panel ensures lighting inside the tent. Overlooking Pilsdon and the Marshwood Vale, this peaceful hideaway offers stunning views, with parking located just beyond the pond and a trolley available for easy luggage transport.

Churchay Lotus Belle Tent
Churchay is a peaceful meadow tucked away in a secluded corner of the farm, featuring a 6m Lotus Belle Stargazer tent that sleeps four, with a king-sized bed and two camp beds suitable for children under 10. Adjacent to the tent is a bathroom shed with an LPG shower and compost loo, along with a covered alfresco kitchen area complete with decking, seating for four, a gas hob, large cool box, pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. A firepit is also provided. Hidden among the trees, you'll find a Hikki wood-fired Nordic bathtub offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and night sky. Entirely off-grid, Churchay includes a solar power hub for USB charging of phones and iPads, with battery-powered lighting that can also be charged via USB. All linen and towels are provided and just a field away, there’s a large wildlife pond surrounded by wildflowers and a picnic bench for relaxing in nature.

Off-Grid Landpods
Two Hoots Landpod sits beside a scenic wildlife pond, sleeping four in two double bunk beds. It features a nearby bathroom shed with an LPG shower and compost loo, a covered alfresco kitchen with cooking essentials, a firepit, picnic bench and deck chairs. There is also a wood-fired bathtub. A solar panel provides lighting and USB charging, with all linen and towels included. Parking is just beyond the pond, with a trolley for easy luggage transport.

Little Coppet Landpod is situated on the side of Coppet Hill, offering spectacular views across the Marshwood Vale towards Lyme Regis. It sleeps five with two double bunk beds and a single and features a new wood burner and indoor seating for cooler nights. Adjacent is a bathroom shed with an LPG shower and compost loo, along with a covered alfresco kitchen equipped with a gas hob, large cool box, pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. A firepit, picnic bench and deck chairs are provided. There is also a wood-fired bathtub for the ultimate relaxation.

The whole family will love exploring the farm, whether it is a picnic by one of the wildlife ponds, wandering through the atmospheric woods or catching a glimpse of a deer or badger. During the summer, we open our delightful sunflower maze.
