Westermill Farm offers camping in the heart of Exmoor, two and a half miles from the village of Exford near the coastal town of Minehead in Somerset. The campsite is set on a five hundred acre (hill) farm, located in the valley with the River Exe flowing through.
The campsite has a designated fifteen acres and is divided into four fields. All of the fields are located in the valley and follow the river.
The campsite offers the following facilities:
Flush toilets.
Free hot showers and hot water provided by a wood chip boiler.
Payphone.
Dishwashing area.
Laundry room.
Natural spring drinking water.
Small farm shop.
Calor gas exchange.
4 waymarked walks.
Hairdryer.
Fridge freezer.
Small farm shop with seasonal logs.
The onsite shop offers is own free-range meat including slow grass-fed beef, lamb and pork. The campsite allowed barbeques so the shop is a great place to buy the food from as you can guarantee it will be fresh and delicious.
Barbecues are allowed in any field and open fires are allowed in field 4 only.
Most of the visitors come to the campsite to relax and unwind and this is the perfect place as you can camp in mown meadows right beside the River Exe. The campsite offers a range of leaflets about the local area and the attractions available.
