Jordans Estate Glamping offers glamping accommodation on the beautiful parkland of our family estate near Ilminster. Nestled in glorious countryside in Somerset, we are a haven for nature lovers looking for somewhere special to stay.
Our glamping accommodation is based on an estate which was once home to Captain John Hanning Speke, a Victorian Explorer credited with ‘discovering’ Lake Victoria Nyanza, the Source of the Nile in 1858. The estate is surrounded by lush fields and nearby is a wonderful woodland. Our glamping site really is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

We have two luxurious handcrafted oak shepherd huts available. Each hut sleeps 2 adults in a double bed and comes with an en suite shower/toilet and washbasin. All towels and bedding are included. They come with a well-equipped kitchen including a fridge, dining table and TV with Free Sat. We include a welcome pack of tea/coffee, milk, cake and logs for the wood burner. Outside you can unwind with a glass of wine in the two person wood-fired hot tub.
Lady Lara
Lady Lara, a luxurious double shepherd hut is set in a secluded woodland orchard, offering ample space and privacy. It features outdoor decking, an optional outdoor shower and a private orchard. Inside, the copper-topped kitchen counter is equipped with a fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and induction hob. The en-suite bathroom boasts a copper-surrounded shower, flushing toilet and basin. The dining area includes a table with bench seating and storage, along with a separate sofa area featuring a TV, 4G Wi-Fi and a wood-burning stove. The spacious bedroom has a proper double bed and a skylight for stargazing or admiring the rustling trees. Outside, guests can enjoy a firepit/pizza oven and their own exclusive wood-fired hot tub, perfect for a relaxing escape into nature.
