Anglesey Tipi & Yurt Holidays can be found on the beautiful Welsh island of Anglesey in Cae'r Gaseg. Our tipi and yurt holidays are perfect for people who are interested to stay in a different type of accommodation that is sustainable and low impact on the environment. Our glamping holidays are truly a unique experience and provide those who stay, a tranquil retreat that is surrounded by stunning Welsh countryside.
There are five glamping accommodations to choose from; our tipi or the yurts. We are a relaxing and peaceful child friendly site that is open to families, couples and small groups of friends.
Our yurts are Chestnut, Birch, White Blossom and Oak. They have coir matting on the floor and a wood burning stove in the centre. Our yurt holidays make great family accommodation and are a popular option for 2 people.
Our tipi isnít as weatherproof as our yurts due to their structure therefore we usually recommend the yurts rather than the tipi for families especially with smaller children as the yurts are less challenging in terms of rainy conditions and have advantage of a wood burning stove. Our tipi is provided with a rain catcher and an external hood to minimise drips during rainy conditions. Weíll also show you on arrival how to operate tipi smoke flaps for when you lighting the fire. This is quite simple operation and it adds that extra factor of adventure to your stay in a Tipi. Please take these factors under consideration when youíre making your choice of accommodation. The tipi is a fabulous glamping experience.
All you need to bring is your own bedding (warm sleeping bag or duvet, pillows, sheets) towels, food, torch and good footwear i.e. wellies or walking boots, slippers or other easy to remove footwear for inside the Yurts/Tipi. We do provide you with a basket of wood for your first night, cooking equipment and some luxury soft furnishings to ensure you have a relaxing space inside.
The Isle of Anglesey is situated off the northwest corner of Wales and has over 100 miles of a spectacular coastline within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Island is connected to Wales by two bridges Ė the Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge. Snowdonia National Park is just a 30 minute drive, across the Menai Straits.
