Llwyn Lodgings Camping in Penegoes offers camping pitches, based in a tranquil setting. We are vehicle free with separate parking available that includes camper vans. Our campsite near Machynlleth is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. You can visit a range of attractions in Powys.
Our large orchard is exclusively for tents, surrounded by lots of trees for shade in the warmer months.
All our pitches are not marked, offering plenty of space to enjoy. We also have a communal cookhouse, offering a great place for home cooking and making new friends.
Near the pitches, there are showers, loos, a family shower room and sinks, based in a dry cedar-lined shower shed.
Two charging points are available in the wash up area. Please note, there is no Wi-Fi and there isn’t a strong phone signal.
We sell pure apple juice from the apples in the orchard, perfect for feeling refreshed on a summer’s day. On Fridays, 3pm-6pm, sourdough bread and pastries available- book ahead with rye and roses.co.uk.
Whilst staying with us you can visit lots of attractions in the area. There’s a footpath from Llwyn into Machynlleth, offering easy access to pubs, local stores, pubs, coffee shops and a laundrette. You can play a round at Machynlleth Golf Club or visit the antique shops and reclamation yard in Machynlleth. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Dyfi Osprey Project.
Sand dunes at Borth and Aberdyfi.
RSPB Ynys-hir.
Corris Steam Railway Museum and Railway.
