We do take dogs as long as they are controlled on site and exercised off site. The site is open all year round. It is a 10 pitch site, all with hard standing and electric hook up. A Freesat box can be hired for £1 a night or £5 a week and wifi is provided by Club Wi-fi.

Situated in a very quiet spot 1.5 miles from the National Trust Village of Lacock the campsite has its own lake 'Silverlands' that is well known for coarse fishing.

Lacock Abbey is a thirteenth century Nunnery that eventually became the home of William Henry Fox Talbot, a pioneer in photography and there is a Museum of Photography at the Abbey. Today Lacock is famous for being the venue for many period drama productions, most notably 'Pride & Prejudice' and 'Moll Flanders'.

In addition to all the many places of interest near to the campsite in Somerset many of the campsites activities are FREE and keep all the family happy.
Island Meadow Caravan Park

The seven acre island, formed by the River Alne and its mill race, provides a quiet and peaceful holiday setting. The bustling town of Henley-in-Arden is just a short drive away from our caravan park.
We have a selection of privately owned holiday homes are located around the banks. All are connected to mains services and each is carefully positioned to give the best possible view, without disturbing the surrounding wildlife.

Holford, Bridgwater, SomersetMoorhouse is a small family run site at Holford, approximately 10 miles west of Bridgwater in Somerset, situated at the foot of the picturesque Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Moorhouse is an ideal site for those wishing to simply enjoy a quiet break in the countryside or explore the area. Dogs (with responsible owners) are welcome.
Moorhouse Farm is situated just off the A39 between Bridgwater and Minehead, in a quiet but accessible location. There are pubs within walking distance at Holford and Kilve. Kilve also has a post office and store. More shops, pubs, restaurants and garages can be found a short drive away at Stogursey, Nether Stowey, Keenthorne and West Quantoxhead.

Butleigh, GlastonburyOur Peaceful campsite is set in the beautiful Somerset countryside but within a few minutes walk from the village of Butleigh with its pub and local shop. The larger towns of Street and Glastonbury are 4 miles away and the A303 only 5 miles.
The level site occupies about 1 acre and is set within 6 acre of traditional Cider Orchard. Here you can walk in and enjoy the many birds, bats, owls and butterflies. The site is dry, level and very sheltered being surrounded by mature hedges. There are plenty of country footpath walks from the site and the small country roads are excellent for bike rides (we have a few for hire) and new for 2015 - we have a glamping luxury glamping pod with ensuite toilet!
