There are 7 tent pitches and 8 hard standing pitches. The pitches are surrounded by trees which offer shelter, there is mains water, recycling facilities and a dump station for the disposal of grey water and chemical toilet disposal. To ensure the campsite stays clean all the roads are tarred and gritted so even in the wet weather they don't get muddy.

Wheems Holiday Accommodation offers 20 pitches for tents, 10 pitches for motorhomes and camper vans as well as 4 glamping pods located 3 miles to the village of St Margaret's Hope in Orkney.
For those travelling light or requiring more substantial dwellings there are also cosy equipped, solid wooden bothies and a yurt with log fire. The campsite overlooks cliffs and sandy beaches to the south are within a 5 minute walk.

Our caravan park has a variety of pitches. The site is located next to the Inn, which is open during normal licensing hours with extended times for Friday evenings (1am) and Saturday evenings (12 midnight). A varied menu is supplied from bacon rolls to steak. Occasionally local fresh brown trout is on the specials board.

We also have some hard standing areas for larger motor homes and our hostel was once a farm building and now offers comfortable and cosy hostel accommodation that is ideal for groups of friends and families who are sharing a holiday.
One of the most favourite features of The Barn is the spacious lounge area sometimes called “the laft”. It is situated on the upper floor and overlooks Pierowall Bay. In fact every room in The Barn has a superb sea view. There is a very spacious lounge with TV/DVD and a fully equipped kitchen
