The campsite is open May to October, the bunkhouse is open all year round.
Our bunkhouse offers comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 15 people in 3 bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are finished to a high standard with comfort in mind and feature hand made oak bunk beds with comfortable quality mattresses and complete with all bed linen which includes pillow, pillowcase, sheet and duvet. Towels are not included but can be hired. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a large airy sitting room. It also has 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms as well as free Wi-Fi throughout.

The toilets and showers are in a separate building to the barn. Electricity is charged on a £1 meter. £50 deposit per night secures the barn for Sole use occupancy

The caravan site only takes a maximum of 8 units, so is always relatively peaceful and quiet. Being a fairly basic wee campsite you can’t expect luxury but we do a have a well kept WC, washroom and hot shower as well as a washing up shed and BBQ area. Have a look at the caravan park photos on the “About Us” page of the site's website. The campsite is set in the wooded landscape of Netherby Estate, part of the Debatable Lands of the Scottish Borders. You’ll find the campsite surroundings much quieter than the congested central Lake District, yet with plenty to explore. The area is covered in artefacts of its turbulent past with many tower houses and castles to visit and the Border Esk and River Liddle provide excellent fishing opportunities. Gretna Green and historic Carlisle are also close by. The caravan park lies approximately 9 miles off the M6 / M74, and 3 miles off the A7, do come and visit as a convenient overnight stop over or for a longer sojourn in the borders.

Our new on site shop sells many camping essentials so don't worry if there is something you have forgotten to pack. We allow our guests to arrive and depart at any time during the day up to 9pm. Well behaved dogs are welcome at no extra cost.

The touring caravan site at Old Hall Caravan Park near Lancaster is one of the most peaceful hideaways in Lancashire and the North West. The park is situated close to the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and many other beautiful locations for enjoying a scenic walk or drive. We are open to short stay tourers from 1st March to 1st December, whereas seasonal caravan owners are welcome to holiday on site in the open season, from 1st March to 10th January. Our clean and spacious toilet and shower block is centrally heated and contains all the facilities you may require, such as free showers and hair dryers, disabled/family room, a dishwashing area and chemical emptying facilities.
